Alia Hussain is the Safeguarding Lead at Bridge That Gap. She is passionate about ensuring that every child grows up in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where they can learn, develop, and reach their full potential.
Growing up as one of nine siblings, Alia naturally developed a caring and responsible nature from an early age. By taking an active role in helping her mother care for her younger brothers and sisters, she gained invaluable experience in understanding children’s individual needs, recognising the importance of patience, consistency, and positive role modelling.
